Capcom announced that they had a special surprise for Playstation 3 Street Fighter fans on Friday, and proceeded to announce Monday that the surprise they were alluding to was...Street Fighter Alpha 1. It's being added to the Playstation Network's PSOne library tomorrow. Go ahead, act surprised, even though the ESRB leaked its existence months ago.Keep in mind that this is the PSOne version of the game, which has the added bouses of a lower animation framerate and slowdown. But hey! You are getting some remixed music. How about that? No added necessities like online play or anything like that. It's inferior to its arcade counterpart, which was already available on the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology released for Playstation 2 in June 2006. That collection also includes the vastly superior Street Fighter Alpha 2 and 3. P.S. Use your money to get that instead.
Hopefully you weren't expecting something special from this announcement. And at least there are PSOne games coming to the US Playstation Network!
